This is nice to keep on hand for a quick energy booster or snack. While traveling, it's great to have along, especially in the winter months. I like making my own, because I can put in whatever I want.

Ingredients For easy snack mix

  • 1/2 - 1 lb
    dried fruit - i used a tropical blend (pineapple, papaya, mango, kiwi, star fruit, and some strawberries)
  • dried blueberries, cherries and cranberries would be a nice addition
  • 1/2 c
    or so coconut flakes - i prefer the sweetened
  • 1/2 - 1 c
    peanuts or nuts of your choice
  • 1/4-1/2 c
    roasted (shelled) pumpkin seeds, optional

How To Make easy snack mix

  • 1
    Combine all ingredients in a large bowl.

    Store in an air tight container in a cool place. It will keep for weeks in the refrigerator.
