We love these instead of plain old boring crackers! They're great with anything!

Ingredients For crostini

  • 1 lg
    french bread loaf
  • 1/4 c
    olive oil, extra virgin
  • 1/2 c
    asiago cheese, grated
  • 1/4 c
    basil, fresh,chopped
  • 1 Tbsp
    salt and pepper mixed

How To Make crostini

  • 1
    Slice the baguette on the bias(at a 45 degree angle. Place on a baking sheet. Drizzle each slice with olive oil.
  • 2
    Top with grated cheese,salt and pepper. Bake for ten minutes or until golden brown,let cool slightly. Garnish with chopped basil and serve.

    I like to serve these with any type of cheese,dry salami,hummus,dip or spread. They are absolutely addictive and disappear before the blink of an eye!! Enjoy!!
