This was sent to me on a Christmas ornament as an e-mail Christmas Card. I tried them and liked them. Hope you like them too.

Ingredients For popcorn balls

  • 8 c
    popped corn (1/2 c unpopped)
  • 1/2 c
    light corn syrup
  • 1/2 c
    water
  • 1 tsp
    white vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 3/4 c
    brown sugar
  • 3/4 c
    white sugar
  • 3/4 c
    butter

How To Make popcorn balls

    Put popped corn in large bowl.
  • 2
    Combine all remaining ingredients, except butter, in a saucepan.

    Heat to boiling over medium high heat,stirring often.
  • 4
    Cook, stirring constantly, to 260 degrees on candy thermometer. Remove from heat, stir in butter till melted - slowly pour over popcorn, stirring to coat.

    Cool slightly - butter hands, shape into 3" balls and place on waxed paper
