I found this recipe in one of my grandma's recipe boxes. It is printed on a bag that had contained Kraft caramels with a price of 39 cents for a 1 pound bag. If you like popcorn balls, you will like this.

Ingredients For carmel popcorn pie

  • 1/2 lb
    kraft caramels (28 caramels)
  • 2 Tbsp
    water
  • 2 qt
    popped corn, salted

How To Make carmel popcorn pie

    Place caramels and water in the top of a double boiler. Heat, stirring frequently, until the caramels are melted and smooth.

    Pour over the popcorn (use large bowl) and toss until every kernel is coated.

    With hands slightly moistened with cold water, pack the popcorn into a 10-inch pan which has been rinsed with cold water. Let stand until the surface is dry.

    With a sharp knife, cut the popcorn pie into 6 wedges. Remove with a spatula to a serving plate.
