This is a very old recipe , it came from my Great Grandma Roupe. An EXCELLENT sauce for carmel corn. *This is a borrowed net picture*

Ingredients For carmel corn

2 clight brown sugar

2 stickmargarine
-
1/2 cwhite karo syrup

1 tspvanilla
-
1 tspsoda
-
8 qtpopped hull-less super popcorn
How To Make carmel corn

1Bring to boil on LOW heat : brown sugar , margarine and Karo syrup. Bring to boil for 5 minutes , stirring constantly

2Remove from heat and add the vanilla and soda ; STIR WELL.

3Coat a large bowl of popped popcorn ( or more if desired )

4Place in a 2" deep sheet ( I use a aluminum turkey pan ).

5Bake @ 250° for 1 hour ; stirring every 15 minutes.
