This is a product recipe from Old Dutch Puffcorn. It is delicious. So simple and so good. And no kernels.

Ingredients For caramel corn

  • 1 bag
    puffcorn
  • 1 c
    butter
  • 1 1/4 c
    brown sugar
  • 2/3 c
    light corn syrup
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda

How To Make caramel corn

  • 1
    preheat oven to 250 combine butter (use only butter, not margarine), brown sugar, and corn syrup in 2 qt saucepan cook on medium until mixture has melted
  • 2
    Once mixture has melted add the baking soda (the mixture will foam) Put the puffcorn in large roaster pan and pour caramel mixture over it. Stir until mixed

    put in 250 oven for 45 minutes stirring every 10-15 minutes remove from oven, pour on wax paper when cool break apart store in airtight container
