I lived off poppycock then 1 day they were out of it so I figured I could make this and I did came out perfectly almost same exact taste and so easy!

Ingredients For better poppycock recipe

  • up to you c
    popped popcorn
  • up to you c
    almonds
  • 1 c
    butter
  • 1 c
    white sugar
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar
  • 1/2 c
    corn syrup, light
  • pinch
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda

How To Make better poppycock recipe

    melt butter in saucepan , add sugars, syrup and salt.

    heat on medium high till boiling then turn down a little above simmer for 5 -10 minutes until it gets alil thicker , Do Not Stir!

    turn off heat add vanilla and baking soda , mixture is extremely hot so be very careful for the next step ,dont use your fingertips trust me

    in a bowl grease with oil or pam add alil popcorn and almonds then add some butter mixture ,stir fast , add more popcorn and more mixture and stir fast keep going till its all coated and mixed well, move fast cuz it will start to harden if this happens put back on stove on med heat to liquify it again then continue to mix with popcorn

    spray baking sheet or use parchment paper and spread the popcorn mixture out to dry. some people say cook it but with this recipe I actually didnt have to it hardened up perfectly
