The Amish have a recipe for everything. I Love popcorn and crackerjacks. This kind doesn't come with a little surprise in it however, the recipe packs a surprise itself to make up for the disappointment.

Ingredients For amish cracker jacks

3 qtpopped corn

1 cbrown sugar

1/2 cbutter

1/4 ccorn syrup

1/2 tspsalt

1/8 tspcream of tartar
How To Make amish cracker jacks

1Cook all except popped corn over medium heat to 260 degrees or hard ball. Boil slowly.

2Pour over popped corn.

3Put in 200 degree oven for 1 hour. Stir 3 times during the hour. Let Cool.
