Ingredients For sweet apple pickles

1peck of sweet apples

1/2 galsugar

1 tspcinnamon
-
1 tspcloves
-
1 ptcider vinegar

cinnamon sticks, if you wish
How To Make sweet apple pickles

1Pare, core, and halve the apples.

2Cover the apples overnight with the sugar.

3Next morning, set them on the fire, and add the cinnamon and the cloves.

4Cook the apples until they are easily stuck with a fork.

5Add the vinegar, and boil another five minutes.

6Seal in jars while the apples are still very hot.

7A cinnamon stick can be added to each jar, if you wish.
