This is one of my favorite snacks. Perfect for game day or holiday munchies. Note: Whiskey or brandy can be substituted with equally delicious results!

Ingredients For spiced rum pretzels

  • 16 oz
    pretzels
  • 1 stick
    butter, unsalted
  • 3 Tbsp
    spiced rum
  • 2 Tbsp
    brown sugar
  • 1 tsp
    cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp
    granulated garlic

How To Make spiced rum pretzels

  • 1
    Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Melt butter in a small saucepan or microwave. Whisk in rum, brown sugar, and spices.

    Pour butter mixture over pretzels in a very large bowl and toss gently to coat.

    Spread coated pretzels on a parchment-lined rimmed baking sheet. Bake for one hour, stirring every 15 minutes.

    Remove pretzels from oven and spread on paper towels or parchment to cool.
