I love making cupcakes they can be made for any occasion , so here's my scary Halloween ones. Let the kids have fun and help to do decorate them I had plenty of help the day I made these ..:) enjoy..

Ingredients For scary halloween cup cakes

  • 125 g
    plain flour(sieved)
  • 4
    eggs @ room temperature
  • 125 g
    caster sugar
  • 2 tsp
    warm water
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1-1/2 tsp
    vanilla extracts
  • FOR DECORATION
  • 1 c
    icing sugar
  • 2-3 tsp
    warm water until icing is spreadable
  • 1 red tube +1 black tube of icing

How To Make scary halloween cup cakes

    Pre-heat oven to 180c/350f... put paper cases into the patty tray.

    Into a mixer add sugar, eggs, vanilla, and water mix altogether until the mixture turns to a light mouse colour and there is plenty of air bubbles (takes about 2 minutes).shift in flour and baking powder and fold gently into the mixture making sure not to knock out too many air bubbles.

    Place the mixture into the patty tin with individual paper cases ,use a ice-cream scoop it does the job for me.. one scoop per case. Then place the tray into a pre-heated oven to bake for 10 to 12 minutes you want the cupcakes to have a lovely golden colour.

    Once done leave to cool in tray for 10 minutes. Then take out of tray and leave to rest on wire rack , while you go and prepare the icing sugar to decorate . And away your little helpers go..
