Ingredients For rice balls

  • 2
    italian sausage, no casings1
  • 1/2
    chop meat
  • 1 sm
    onion chopped
  • 1 1/2 c
    peas, frozen petite
  • 2 Tbsp
    tomato paste
  • 1 c
    romano cheese, grated
  • 3 c
    cooked rice
  • 1
    egg beaten
  • bread crumbs, dry

How To Make rice balls

  • 1
    cook sausage meat, chop meat and onions, drain grease. add tomato paste and peas. add cheese, mix with cooked rice
  • 2
    shape into balls, compressing well to keep together
  • 3
    roll in egg, then bread crumbs. deep fry till golden brown { 2 minutes }
