This is super fast and absolutely delicious meat free burger! Mushrooms and cheddar are the star of this burger! I will also be posting a recipe using these patties as a dinner as well.

Ingredients For mushroom burgers vegetarian

  • 2
    eggs, beaten
  • 2 c
    chopped mushrooms ( i used baby portalella's)
  • 1/2 c
    bread crubs ( i use italian flavored)
  • 1/2 c
    shredded cheddar cheese ( i used colby/jack)
  • 1/2 c
    minced onion
  • 1/4 c
    flour
  • 1/4 tsp
    thyme
  • salt and pepper to taste

How To Make mushroom burgers vegetarian

  • 1
    Using a food processor makes this recipe quicker then going through a drive through for a burger! I put the onion and mushrooms in the processor and processed until finely chopped.

    Crack the 2 eggs in a medium sized mixing bowl. Beat them then mix all the ingredients in the bowl. Form into 4 patties.

    Fry in a tablespoon of olive oil, over medium high heat, 3 minutes per side. Delicious and healthy!
