Ingredients For mum's fudge in 5 (with evaporated milk)

  • 2/3 c
    undiluted carnation evaporated milk
  • 1 2/3 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 1/2 c
    miniature marshmallows
  • 1 1/2 c
    semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 c
    chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)

How To Make mum's fudge in 5 (with evaporated milk)

    Mix Carnation evaporated milk, sugar and salt in saucepan over low. Heat to boiling, then cook 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat.

    Add miniature marshmallows, chocolate chips, vanilla, nuts. Stir 1-2 minutes (until marshmallows melt). Pour into buttered 9” square pan.

    Allow to cool then cut into squares or whatever size pieces you want. I run my knife under hot water for a minute. It cuts the fudge like butter :)
