These are also called bird nests and haystacks. Great little treats. These are very rich and typically only made at Christmas.

Ingredients For mum's chow mein cookies

  • 1 sm
    bag each of peanut butter chips and butterscotch chips (substitute chocolate chips in place of either)
  • 5 oz
    can of chow mein noodles

How To Make mum's chow mein cookies

    Combine both bags of chips and heat on high in microwave bowl about 2-3 minutes. Just long enough to melt. DO NOT heat too long, the chips can and will burn.

    Add entire can of noodles and mix well. Drop spoonfuls onto wax paper. Let cool.
