My good friend, Donna Wade and I were trying to out do each other in the kitchen during the '70's. She won this one!! Venison was very abundant in those days (my dad and friends went hunting each year), so we made our Jerky with deer meat.

Ingredients For jerky--lyn*

  • 1/2 c
    teriyaki sauce
  • 1/2 c
    soy sauce
  • 1/4 tsp
    lemon pepper
  • 1/4 tsp
    garlic salt
  • beef brisket

How To Make jerky--lyn*

  • 1
    Slice brisket thinly cross-grain--cut off all fat.

    Mix all ingredients and place in glass dish, add brisket slices and marinate for 1 hour.

    Place rack on cookie sheet, spray all with cooking spray. Put brisket on rack and dry out in 150-degree oven for 12 hours.
