Ingredients For home made granola

10 csteel cut rolled oats (do not use quick or instant)

1 cwheat germ

1/2 lbshredded coconut

2 craw sunflower seeds
-
1 csesame seeds

3 cchopped nuts (any kind)

1 1/2 cbrown sugar

1 1/2 capple juice
-
1 1/2 cvegetable oil or canola oil

1/2 choney
-
1/2 cblackstrap molasses

1 1/2 tspsalt
-
2 tspcinnamon
-
3 tspvanilla extract
-
dried fruit (your choice)
How To Make home made granola

1Preheat oven to 300 degrees (F). Combine dry ingredients (except fruit) in a large bowl.

2In a large saucepan combine brown sugar, vanilla, honey, molasses, and apple juice. Heat, do not boil, until sugar is dissolved.

3Stir into dry ingredients until well coated

4onto baking pan or cookie sheet (in batches). Bake 20-30 minutes; stirring occasionally to prevent burning

5Allow to cool. Mix in the dried fruit. Place in large container.
