Anyone who knows me knows that i'm a health nut. However, I'm a health nut with a relentless sweet tooth, so I am always looking for easy ways to please both sides. Not only is this recipe healthy (low calorie and nutritious), it's quick! 5 mins! Eat as is, or add to your favorite panini, waffle/pancake, or any other dish that you want to add baked apples without the extra sugar. I personally eat these with oatmeal or alone as a mid-morning snack. 80 calories never tasted so good!

Ingredients For guilt-free baked apple express

  • 1 md
    apple (i prefer gala apples)
  • 1 pkg
    stevia
  • 1-2 Tbsp
    cinnamon, ground

How To Make guilt-free baked apple express

    Cut apple into 8 or 12 slices (like quarters).
  • 2
    Place apple slices in a sandwich bag.
  • 3
    Sprinkle 1 packet of Stevia (or Truvia, based on preference) into bag over apple slices.

    Coat slices with ground cinnamon (not cinnamon sugar).
  • 5
    Shake bag contents until slices are coated.
  • 6
    Remove and place slices on microwave safe dish and put in the microwave for 2-3 mins.
