This recipe comes from the Metabolic Cookbook. It's a new twist on an old favorite of mine. I love avocados and I love deviled eggs. The best of both!

Ingredients For guacamole deviled eggs

6hard boiled eggs, peeled and cut lengthwise

1ripe avocado, pitted and peeled

1 Tbspfresh lime juice

1/4 tspsalt
-
1/4 tsponion powder
-
1 tspminced garlic more or less to taste

2 tspfinely chopped cilantro

paprika
How To Make guacamole deviled eggs

1Remove egg yolks from the halved eggs and place in a small bowl. Add the ripe avocado, lime juice, salt, onion powder, garlic and cilantro. Use a fork to mash the guacamole mixture until smooth.

2Spoon (or use a frosting bag to pipe) the mixture into the halved eggs. Sprinkle with a dash of paprika. Keep stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days. Enjoy!
