dallas' chex mix
This is my step-son's favorite snack mix. Fair warning, once you start munching on this, it's going to be hard to stop!

Ingredients For dallas' chex mix

3 ccorn chex cereal

3 crice chex cereal

3 cwheat chex cereal
-
2 ccashews
-
2 cpretzels
-
2 ccheez-it crackers or goldfish

1 1/2 sticksalted butter, (12 tablespoons)

4 Tbspworcestershire sauce

1 Tbspseasoned salt (lawry's)

3/4 tspgarlic powder

1/2 tsponion powder
How To Make dallas' chex mix

1Gather ingredients. Preheat oven to 250 degrees F. Line 2 rimmed baking sheets with aluminum foil (foil is optional, but makes for easier clean-up;) set aside.

2To an extra large bowl, add cereals, cashews, pretzels and crackers; toss to combine. Set aside.

3In a saucepan over medium heat, or in microwave, melt 1 1/2 sticks butter.

4To the butter, add worcestershire sauce, seasoned salt, garlic powder and onion powder; stir until well combined.

5Drizzle butter mixture over cereal mixture, using a large spoon to toss cereal to coat evenly.

6Spread mixture evenly on prepared sheetpans. Bake at 250 degrees F for one hour total, stirring and alternating positions, every 15 minutes.

7Allow to cool before storing in airtight container. To hasten cooling, you may spread it on paper towels on the counter, if desired.
