Ingredients For cinnamon crisps

  • 3-5
    flour tortillas
  • oil in a deep fryer or deep sauce pan
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1-1/2 tsp
    cinnamon / you can use less if you want

How To Make cinnamon crisps

    MIX THE CINNAMON AND SUGAR IN A SQUARE DISH OR PAN AND SET ASIDE
  • 2
    CUT THE TORTILLAS INTO 1 TO 1 1/2 INCH STRIPS
  • 3
    PLACE STRIPS INTO HOT OIL FOR A MINUTE ON EACH SIDE. TAKE OUT AND LAY STRIPS ON A PAPER TOWEL TO SOAK UP EXCESS OIL. CONTINUE WITH THE REST OF THE TORTILLA STRIPS.

    TAKE OFF PAPER TOWEL AND DIP STRIPS INTO THE CINNAMON SUGAR MIXTURE WHILE STILL WARM.
