My aunt introduced me to these fun little snacks. We made them for Easter and it was a perfect treat, not to mention a hit with everyone! The recipe can be tweaked to however you like your nests, and it is all based on personal preference.

Ingredients For butterscotch bird nests

1 (12 oz.) pkgbutterscotch chips

1 large canchow mein noodles

1 pkgcandy eggs (i used the "robin's eggs")
How To Make butterscotch bird nests

1Put the butterscotch chips in a glass bowl and melt in the microwave. The amount is completely optional, I used the entire bag.

2Once the chips are melted, stir in the chow mein noodles.

3On a piece of parchment paper, take a small scoop of the chow mein noodle mixture and form a small nest with your hands. Place the eggs on top.

4Do not refrigerate, just leave uncovered on parchment paper to dry.
