1 bottlebrown ale

2 Tbspunsalted butter

1 1/4 cdark brown sugar

1/4 cdark corn syrup

1 cheavy cream

1 1/2 csalted thin pretzels
How To Make beer pretzel caramel squares

1Pour beer into a glass, let go flat for 1 hour.

2Butter 8 inch baking dish. Bring half the beer to a boil and reduce 10 minutes.

3Combine remaining beer, brown sugar, corn syrup, cream and butter; bring to a boil until a candy thermometer reads 235 F. Remove from heat and stir in reduced beer and roughly chopped pretzels. Spread in dish and chill until firm. Cut into squares.
