Ingredients For bavarian burger bites

1 lbground beef

1/8 cyellow onion

1/4 cfresh sauerkraut in a jar

1/4 cdeuseldorf mustard
How To Make bavarian burger bites

1Finely chop 1/4 of a sweet onion. Heat a skillet over med. heat and saute the onions until transparent and soft.

2In a large bowl (or a mixing bowl) thoroughly combine the ground beef, chopped sauerkraut, onions, 1 egg and mustard.

3Mold the mixture into small patties. (I used a biscuit cutter as a mold)

4Cook the patties over a grill, broiler, or skillet. Salt & pepper and cook completely through .

5Garnish with condiments of choice. (I used a dollop of mustard, thin sliced pickles and tomatoes.) Serve for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, appetizers etc. They are good hot or cold.

6Store in the refrigerator if you're lucky enough to have leftovers.
