Ingredients For spicy peanuts

  • 2 tsp
    canola oil
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    Creole seasoning or Cajun seasoning (like Tony Chachere's)
  • 1/4 tsp
    ground red pepper (cayenne)
  • 2 c
    lightly salted party peanuts

How To Make spicy peanuts

  • Spices and oil in a saute pan.

    Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add seasoning and red pepper.

    Stir until combined.
  • Peanuts added to spices in saute pan.

    Stir in peanuts.
  • Toasting peanuts with spices in saute pan.

    Cook for 2 or 3 minutes, stirring constantly until peanuts are evenly coated and hot.
  • Peanuts cooling on a baking sheet.

    Cool slightly and serve. These are good served warm or cool.
  • Spicy peanuts in a mason jar with a red ribbon.
