Ingredients For roasting chestnuts

1 lgbag of raw chestnuts

How To Make roasting chestnuts

1Set your oven for 425'F. Make a slice along the round mounded edge of each chestnut. Make sure you cut right through the shell.

2Put them in a saucepan and cover with water.

3Bring to a simmer.

4Remove from the pot and put into a heat proof dish.

5Bake for 15 minutes.

6Put in a towel and leave for 15 minutes so the steam can help soften the chestnuts.
