I was given this recipe years ago & it remains a favorite at Christmas time. I take this to work and other parties.

Ingredients For praline pecan crunch

8 coriginal quaker oatmeal squares (cinnamon is good too)

2 cpecans

1/2 ckaro light syrup

1/2 cbrown sugar

1/4 cbutter, melted

1 tspbaking soda

1 tspvanilla
How To Make praline pecan crunch

1Heat oven to 250 degrees. Combine cereal and pecans in 13" x 9" pan. Set aside.

2Combine corn syrup, brown, sugar, and butter in sauce pan. Cooke over medium to medium high heat until boiling. Remove from heat adn stir in vanilla and baking soda. Stir. Pour over cereal and stir to coat evenly.

3Bake 1 hour, stirring every 20 minutes. Spread onto wax paper until cooled. Then break up larger pieces and store in air tight container.
