I have merged two recipes. One from my sister and one I found on the internet. hope you will try this and add your own flare to and share it with us!! As with every recipe, it is hit & miss until the final "CAAAABOOM" when the flavor just explodes in your mouth!!!

Ingredients For old-fashoined roasted pecans

  • 6-8 c
    pecans, halved
  • 1
    egg white
  • 1 Tbsp
    water
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/2 c
    white sugar
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1 tsp
    salt

How To Make old-fashoined roasted pecans

    Heat oven to 325 degrees.
  • 2
    Beat together egg, sugars, cinnamon & salt.
  • 3
    Place egg mixture in large container (with lock-tight lid) with pecans & coat pecans.

    Spread coated pecans on baking pan and bake at 325 for at least 30 minutes. Turn pecans after 15 minutes and monitor the progress!!

    Pecans can be frozen and stored for 3 months or so
