This is a little more work than most of the other Chex Mix recipes but it's the one I know. I love all these spices, especially Beau Monde it is one of my favorite spice blends. This is a very flavorful nuts & bolts. You'll be sure to make it year after year for your family & friends. I wish I would of taken pics when my nephew Noah was helping me fill the bags.

- SEASONINGS

1 Tbspbeau monde seasoning

2 tspseasoning salt (nature's seasoning)

1 tspmarjoram

1 tspsummer savory

1/2 tspgarlic powder

1/2 tsponion powder

1 tspcayenne pepper

1 Tbspparsley flakes
- CEREALS

1 boxcherrios
-
1 boxrice chex
-
1 boxcorn chex

1 boxwheat chex
- NUTS
-
2 csalted peanuts (we like the red skinned)

1 ccashews, salted
-
1 cpecans
-
2 cmixed nuts
- SNACKS
-
1 bagbugles
-
1 bagpretzel sticks

1 lbbutter or margarine
How To Make nuts and bolts

1Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Melt butter and add spices. Pour over dry ingredients and mix well. Put into shallow baking pan. Bake for 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Or, add all dry ingredients into a roasting pan & then pour melted butter w/seasonings over mixture. Stir well & about every 20 minutes to 1/2 hour. For about 2 hrs....leave lid off for mixture to dry and then store into an airtight container.
