Found this in an old book in the bottom of a closet. It's amazing to look through these books. Women have been swapping cooking ideas a long time.

Ingredients For fruit balls

  • 1 c
    prunes, pitted
  • 1 c
    dark raisins
  • 1 c
    coconut
  • 2 Tbsp
    orange juice
  • 2 Tbsp
    honey
  • 1 1/2 c
    pecans
  • 1 tsp
    orange rind
  • 1/4 c
    crushed nuts or powdered sugar for coating

How To Make fruit balls

  • 1
    Chop fruit and nuts by hand or in food chopper (not the 1/4 cup of crushed nuts save these for the coating). Mix together and roll into balls.

    roll balls in either powdered sugar in crushed nuts. Dry at room temperature of 4 hours. Store in a air tight container.
