frosted pecans

A friend gave me this recipe after I went crazy over them. I make them every Thanksgiving and Christmas. Everyone just loves them Last year my 13 year old grandson requested the recipe so that he could make them himself. (They look real nice sprinkled over a cookie platter.)

Ingredients For frosted pecans

1egg white

1 tspcold water

1 lbpecan halves

1/3 cbrown sugar, firmly packed

3 Tbspsugar

1/4 tspsalt

1/2 tspcinnamon (or a little more)
How To Make frosted pecans

1Beat egg white slightly. Add water and beat until frothy, but not thick. Add pecans and sir so they are all well coated.

2Mix remaining ingredients and add to nuts. Toss well to coat.

3Pour mixture onto a greased cookie sheet and bake in 250 oven for one hour. Stir occasionally while baking.
