This is my Mother's recipe and it is very special. She went through many, many recipes for granola before she perfected this one. It's the best granola I've ever had and you'll love it too!

Ingredients For diane's homemade rancho bernardo granola

1 1/2 cpecans, broken in large pieces

2 cquaker oats
-
2 csliced almonds
-
2 ccoconut, shredded sweet
-
1/2 cwheat germ
-
1 csesame seeds
-
1 csunflower seeds (no shells)

1 1/2 choney (wildflower preferred)
-
3/4 cpeanut oil
-
1/2 craisins
-
1/2 cdried currants
-
1 cdried banana chips sweet
How To Make diane's homemade rancho bernardo granola

1Preheat oven to 300 degrees.

2Combine all ingredients in a bowl except the last three.

3Mix thoroughly and spread on a baking sheet at 300°F for about 1 hour or until browned.

4Stir frequently

5After baking, mix in last three ingredients.
