beer snack nuts

Next time you go to a friend's house to watch a sports game, take along some Beer Nut Snacks for your host. The sweet & salty nuts are very easy to make. Just pour them into a decorative beer bottle, seal shut & tag it with a sports label. You will be the biggest hit of the party!

Ingredients For beer snack nuts

  • 4 1/2 c
    shelled raw peanuts
  • 2 c
    granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 c
    water
  • coarse salt

How To Make beer snack nuts

  • 1
    Place peanuts, sugar, 1/2 tsp. salt, & water in a Dutch oven & bring to boil. Continue to boil until all liquid is absorbed, about 25 to 30 minutes.

    Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Spread peanuts on a greased 15 x 10 x 1 inch jellyroll pan & sprinkle with coarse salt.

    Bake 20 minutes. Remove from oven, stir, sprinkle with coarse salt again & bake again 20 minutes longer.

    Cool completely....Store in airtight container.
