This is from my Leisure Arts Presents The Spirit of Christmas Book, These crackers can be made and served all year round as a nice appetizer or serve with soups.

Ingredients For spicy cheese creackers

2 jar5 oz. each pasteurized process sharp chese spread

2/3 cbutter or margarine

1 tspground red pepper
-
1 tspsalt

2 call-purpose flour

3/4 cfinely chopped pecans
How To Make spicy cheese creackers

1In a large bowl, beat cheese spread, butter, red pepper, and salt until well blended. Add flour, 1/2 cup at a time, using hands to knead until all flour is incorporated. Knead in pecans. Divide dough into thirds. Shape each piece into 8 inch long logs. Wrap in plastic wrap and chill over night.

2Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cut logs into 1/8 inch sllices. Transfer to a lightly greased baking sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Serve warm or at room temperature. Store in a cookie tin.
