parmesan crackers

was going thru old low fat recipe books and found this. It is hard finding flavored crackers without all the sodium and addatives. these sound good and thought I'd share

Ingredients For parmesan crackers

1 1/2 cquick oats, uncooked

1 cflour
-
1/4 cwheat germ
-
3/4 tspbaking powder
-
1 1/2 Tbspsugar
-
1/4 creduced calorie margarine
-
1/3 c+ 2 tablespoons water
-
vegetable cooking spray
-
2 Tbspgrated parmesan cheese
How To Make parmesan crackers

1Combine first six ingredients in a large bowl

2Cut in margarine with a pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse crumbs

3Add water and stir just until mixture is moistened

4Place dough on a large baking sheet, sprayed with cooking spray

5roll dough into a 12 1/2" X 12 " rectangle

6cut dough into 60 squares. Use a ruler, or something with a square edge( to score) and using a knife, or pizza cutter cut the squares. 2 1/2" X 1" squares. pierce squares with a fork and sprinkle with cheese

7bake in a pre-heated 350 degree oven 22 to 24 minutes or until crisp and lightly browned

8cool, and store in airtight container
