As a family, we're trying to get away from chips and unhealthy snacks. This is one of our favorites, year-round. I always make, at least, two double batches during the holidays. I usually make a double batch at a time and store it in a large plastic storage container on the kitchen counter with a 1 cup measuring scoop and small brown paper bags on the side for "scoop-and-go" snacks and lunch bag stuffers. (Decorative bags for the holidays.) A wonderful recipe for kids because there is no baking required. A favorite at Christmas time and all year long for this family. =)

8 ccrispix or chex cereal, your choice

2 1/2 cminiature pretzels, or any small snack cracker

2 1/2 cgoldfish, whales or mini square cheese crackers

3 Tbspvegetable or canola oil, can add a little more if desired

1envelope dry ranch seasoning, can add more to taste

1-2 tspdried dill weed, try 1 tsp....can add more

1-2 tspgarlic powder, try 1 tsp....can add more

1Place all ingredients in a clean, large plastic bag and slowly tumble until well mixed. Try adding 1 tsp. of dill and garlic at first. Try it and add more if desired... We like a lot, so I usually add more seasonings and a little more oil and taste as I go along until it's just right.

2Start with one batch, but if you are like us, you'll be making double batches from then on!
