This is a great healthy alternative to greasy fried white flour pita chips. So good and they work great for other dipping sauces and spreads that might be too heavy for potato chips or party crackers.

Ingredients For whole wheat, baked pita chips

3(5 inch) whole wheat pita bread or greek flat bread

1/2 tspsea salt

3 Tbspolive oil
How To Make whole wheat, baked pita chips

1Heat the oven to 400°F and arrange a rack in the middle.

2Slice the pitas into approximately 8 wedges. If using pita instead of Greek flat bread, don't separate the layers.

3Place the pita wedges in a single layer on a baking sheet.

4Brush the tops with half of the olive oil and sprinkle with half of the salt.

5Turn the wedges over and repeat with the remaining oil and salt.

6Bake until the chips are golden brown and crispy, about 15 minutes.

7Remove from the oven and transfer the chips to a wire rack until completely cooled. Store in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
