Translation= Melted cheese with chorizo. So so yummy. Serve with corn tortilla chips or corn chips such as Frito's.

Ingredients For queso fundido con chorizo

  • 1 stick
    mexican style chorizo (casing removed)
  • 1 lb
    velveeta cheese
  • 1/2 c
    favorite salsa or picante sauce
  • 2 Tbsp
    chopped cilantro (optional)

How To Make queso fundido con chorizo

  • 1
    In a medium sized skillet brown and crumble chorizo until done. Do not drain fat. Although not as healthy, chorizo fat is loaded with wonderful Mexican flavors and will season your dip beautifully. Add cubed Velveeta to pan and salsa. Stir constantly until cheese is melted. Stir in or garnish with cilantro. Enjoy!
