Ingredients For zucchini & cheese casserole

  • 4 c
    zucchini squash, sliced in circles
  • 1/2 c
    onion, chopped
  • 1/4 c
    salad oil
  • 1
    egg
  • 1 c
    evaporated milk
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/8 tsp
    pepper
  • 1 slice
    white bread, broken up
  • 1 c
    cheddar cheese,grated

How To Make zucchini & cheese casserole

  • 1
    Cook squash and onion in oil until tender. Beat egg and add with the evaporated milk, salt, pepper and bread. Alternate layers of squash, cheese and milk mixture in a 2-quart casserole. Bake at 350^ for 45 minutes.
