This is a very versatile recipe. Great as a vegetable or side dish Add cashews or tofu to make it a vegetarian main dish. Add shrimp, chicken, beef, or pork to make it a main dish.

Ingredients For vegetable stir fry

    heads broccoli, chopped into flowerets
  • 1 md
    sweet onion, cut into 1" squares
  • 1
    orange bell pepper, cut into 1" squares
  • 8 oz
    white mushrooms, cut into quarters
  • 2 Tbsp
    soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp
    rice vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp
    rice wine
  • 1 tsp
    sriracha hot sauce, optional
  • 2 Tbsp
    sesame oil
  • 3 clove
    garlic, minced, peeled, and grated
  • 2 tsp
    fresh ginger, grated
  • salt, to taste
  • sliced green onions, optional
  • sesame seeds, optionial

How To Make vegetable stir fry

  • 1
    Combine the broccoli, onion, bell pepper, and mushrooms in large container.

    Put all the sauce ingredients into small container: rice wine, rice vinegar, and soy sauce and the Sriracha hot sauce if using.

    Combine the garlic and ginger together.

    Heat oil in a wok to a high heat. Add all the veggies and stir fry for 6-8 minutes until they are turning brown on the edges and are the right tenderness.

    Add the garlic and ginger and stir fry for 1-2 minutes, then add the sauce ingredients, Turn off the heat and let cook another couple of minutes.

    Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions just before your serve.
