A great holiday side dish for Christmas, Thanksgiving or Easter. I work in a retirement community in dining services and my residents love for me to make this at home and bring it in as a special treat on holidays.

Ingredients For vegetable casserole

  • 1 can
    12 oz white shoe peg corn drained
  • 1 can
    16 oz french cut green bean drained
  • 1/2 c
    celery, chopped
  • 1/2 c
    onoin, chopped
  • 1/2 c
    carrots,sliced and quartered into small pieces
  • 1/2 c
    sour cream
  • 1/2 c
    sharp cheddar, grated
  • 1 can
    crm of celery soup
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    pepper
  • 1 c
    ritz cracker crumbs *topping*
  • 1/2 stick
    butter melted*topping*
  • 1/2 c
    slivered almonds*topping*

How To Make vegetable casserole

  • 1
    mix all ingredients except topping. Place in 1 1/2 qt casserole. Sprinkle topping over casserole. Bake @ 350 for 45 mins.
