A blast from the past. This recipe is great at potluck dinners. It was given to me in 1984 when I married. It is easy to make and delicious.

Ingredients For vegetable casserole

  • 1 can
    french style green beans, drained
  • 1 can
    whole kernel corn-drained
  • 1 sm
    onion-chopped
  • 1/2 c
    grated cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 c
    celery-chopped
  • 1 can
    cream of celery soup
  • 1/2 c
    sour cream
  • 1
    sleeve buttery flavored crackers (i use ritz)
  • 1/4
    stick butter or margarine-melted
  • ***PREHEAT OVEN TO 350 DEGREES***

How To Make vegetable casserole

  • 1
    In a large bowl mix all the ingredients except crackers and butter. Place in a 9x13 casserole dish which has been sprayed with a non-stick vegetable spray.

    Crush the crackers and mix with the melted butter. Sprinkle on top of the mixture. Bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
