These are a favorite of my husband served on home made wheat rolls. They have the texture of a crab cake. soft and moist.

Ingredients For vegan lentil burgers

1 canprogreso lentil soup

1 Tbspolive oil
-
3 clovegarlic, diced
-
1/2 mdonion, diced
-
1 lgcarrot, shredded
-
1 tsppepper
-
1 Tbspsoy sauce

3/4 crolled oat, finely ground

3/4 citalian breadcrumbs
How To Make vegan lentil burgers

1Fry the onions, carrot, and garlic in the oil until soft, it will take about 5 minutes.

2Add Lentil soup and Heat thru.

3In a bowl mix the cooked ingredients with the pepper, soy sauce, oats and bread crumbs.

4While still warm, form the lentil mixture into patties, which can now be frozen, refrigerated (for up to 5 days), or cooked immediately.

5Burgers can then be shallow fried for 1-2 minutes on each side or baked at 400F. for 15 minutes.
