Va va voom is right. I'm not a big fan of mixed veggies but this recipe changed my mind at the first bite. Every time I make it, I have copies of the recipe ready so that I can hand them out to the many who ask for it.

Ingredients For va-va-voom veggie casserole

  • 2 can
    veg-all, drained
  • 1 can
    water chestnuts, drained
  • 1/2 c
    onions, chopped fine
  • 3/4 c
    mayonnaise
  • 1 c
    cheddar cheese, grated
  • TOPPING
  • 1 1/8 pkg
    (sleeve) ritz crackers, crushed
  • 1 1/4 c
    butter, melted

How To Make va-va-voom veggie casserole

  • 1
    Mix first five ingredients together and pour into a greased casserole dish.

    Sprinkle crushed Ritz crackers over the top, then pour melted butter over the crackers.

    Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until bubbly around the edges.

    Note: our family motto is, "if a little cheese is good, a lotta cheese is better," so feel free to add extra cheddar (we like sharp), but seriously, don't overdo it.
