three bean salad

I like to make this during the hot summer days. I love veggies but sometimes its just to hot..( for example it was 113 here and today doesn't feel any cooler). I like my brine a bit tart, but if you feel its to much reduce the vinegar down to 1 cup.

Ingredients For three bean salad

  • 4 can
    cut green beans
  • 2 can
    red kidney beans
  • 1 can
    chick peas
  • 1 1/3 c
    apple cider vinergar
  • 3/4 c
    sugar
  • 32 oz
    water
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1/8 tsp
    pepper (white or black)
  • 1 md
    red onion, chopped
  • 1 md
    green bell pepper chopped

How To Make three bean salad

    Open and drain liquid from all cans. Put into a large bowl or covered container.

    Add Chopped onion and bell pepper
  • 3
    Add in sugar , salt , pepper and vinegar. Stir.
  • 4
    Add in water, stir until sugar is dissolved.

    Chill several hours
