tangy red cabbage
My heritage is German and so a few times a year I hit Schiller's German deli and store in South Tampa. I come away with way too many candies and cookies, but also Westphalian Ham and knockwursts! This is my side dish. My Oma LOVED red cabbage and I always dedicate these dinners to her! The brown sugar is missing in the pic, not sure why!

Pressure Cooker/Instant Pot
Ingredients For tangy red cabbage

1 mdred cabbage, shredded or chopped roughly

6cloves, whole

1 1/2 cwater

4 Tbspapple cider vinegar

1 1/2 mdapples, sweet, peeled and cored, sliced or chopped

salt and pepper to taste

2 1/2 Tbsplight brown sugar
How To Make tangy red cabbage

1Combine all ingredients in Instant pot.

2Set to 25 minutes on manual.

3Enjoy with knockwurst, bratwurst, schnitzel or whatever you like!
