I love sweet potatoes and yams. The flavor of the sweet and tart of the cranberries is perfect in this dish. This is another recipe I obtained from a cookbook called "Savoring Cape Cod" offered by the Audubon in Wellfleet, MA Submitted by Doris B. Miller

Ingredients For sweet potato cranberry casserole

4good sized sweet potatoes or yams, boiled, peeled, and cut in 3/4-inch slices

112 ounce package fresh cranberries

1 1/4 -1 1/2 cups sugar

1/2 cpecan halves

1/4 corange juice

3/4 tspground cinnamon

1/4 tspground nutmeg
How To Make sweet potato cranberry casserole

1Combine cranberries, sugar, pecan halves, orange juice and spices in a 2-quart casserole. Bake at 375 degrees F for 30 minutes. Stir potatoes into cranberry mixture and bake 15 minutes or until heated through. Serves 8
