sweet butternut squash
I created this because what I really wanted was candied sweet potatoes. Since I didn't have any, but a lot of butternut squash I improvised. This turned out so much better than expected! I nearly ate it all before I could snap a pic!

Ingredients For sweet butternut squash

1 smbutternut squash, peeled, seeded, and cut into small cubes (about 2 1/2 cups of cubes)

1 Tbspbutter

2 Tbspbrown sugar

1 Tbsphoney

1/2 tspcinnamon

freshly grated nutmeg, to taste

sea salt, to taste
How To Make sweet butternut squash

1In a large skillet with a tight fitting lid, melt butter over medium-low heat.

2Add rest of ingredients and stir well. Cover and cook 15 minutes or until squash is tender.

3Remove lid, increase temperature to medium to medium-high heat, and let cook for 5 minutes or until juices have thickened quite a bit. To the consistency of a thin syrup.

4Remove from heat and serve. Enjoy!
