sweet and sour baked bean

This is a nice recipe for both kids and adults. The red frenso pepper is not that spicy. My friends son just spoons it in a hotdog bun and eat's it as a sloppy dog. Hot crusty roll are a must.

Ingredients For sweet and sour baked bean

  • 64 oz
    (4)16 ounce cans campbells pork and beans
  • 2 pkg
    ball park bun size beef hotdogs, sliced into 1 inch pieces
  • 16 oz
    dole pineapple chunks, well drained
  • 1/2 c
    chili sauce
  • 1/2 c
    chopped green bell pepper
  • 2
    red frenso peppers, seeded and diced
  • 1/4 c
    light brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/4 c
    soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp
    dried instant minced onion
  • 1 Tbsp
    dried instant minced garlic
  • 2 Tbsp
    apple cider vinegar

How To Make sweet and sour baked bean

    Pre-Heat oven to 375 degrees

    In a large bowl, mix everything really well.

    Transfer to a 9x13 pan. (I use the aluminum pan for easy clean up). Bake uncovered 45 minutes or until bubbly around the edges
