I like to toss hot carrots with citrus and dill. Using straight orange juice and ride yields great results - but I confess to switching to lemon or lime according to what I have in the refrigerator. It can be on the table in ten minutes

1 1/2 lbbaby carrots, trimmed (4 cups)

1 Tbspbutter, cut into pieces (can use vegetarian substitute)

4 Tbsporange juice (or line or lemon - or mix)

2 tspfresh zest from citrus of your choice

2 tspdried dill
How To Make steamed baby carrots with citrus dill butter

1Place carrots in a steamer basket fitted in a large pot; steam over simmering water 7-9 minutes, or until just tender

2Transfer carrots to large bowl, and toss with orange juice, butter, zest, and dill.

3Season with sea salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
